Terms of Use

By downloading or using Candid ("the App"), you agree to these terms.

1. License

Candid Company grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

2. Subscription

Candid offers an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks the App's features.

• Free trial: 7 days. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins automatically.
• Price & term: USD $6.99 per month (or the equivalent in your local currency as shown at purchase).
• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Managing & cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only to capture content you have the right to record, and in compliance with all applicable laws, including recording-consent and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Your content

All footage you record or save stays on your device. You retain all rights to your content. We claim no ownership of it and have no access to it.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that laughter auto-save or any feature will capture every moment, or that captured footage will be free of defects.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Candid Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including lost footage.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
